Peer Review Process | மதிப்பீட்டு முறை

To maintain the highest academic standards, KALANJIYAM follows a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review Process.

  • Step 1: Initial Screening: The Chief Editor checks the manuscript for scope, formatting, and plagiarism (using software).

  • Step 2: Double-Blind Review: The paper is sent to two external experts. Neither the author nor the reviewer knows each other’s identity.

  • Step 3: Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers assess originality, methodology, and contribution to Tamil research.

  • Step 4: Final Decision: Based on the reports, the editor decides to:

    • Accept as is.

    • Accept with minor/major revisions.

    • Reject.

  • Timeline: The process typically takes 4 to 6 weeks.
