A double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access quarterly journal of Tamil language, literature, culture, history, linguistics and interdisciplinary Tamil studies, published in Tamil and English by the Department of Library and Information Science and Department of Tamil, Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College (Autonomous), Pollachi.

ஆய்வுப் புலங்கள்Subject areas

செவ்வியல் காலம் முதல் இன்று வரையிலான தமிழ் பற்றியும், உலக மொழிகள், பண்பாடுகளிடையே தமிழின் இடம் பற்றியுமான ஆய்வுகள். நூல்கள், சுவடிகள், கல்வெட்டுகள், களஆய்வு போன்ற முதன்மை மூலங்களை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட ஆய்வுகள் சிறப்பாக வரவேற்கப்படுகின்றன.

Research on Tamil from the classical period to the present, and on its place among the languages and cultures of the world. Work based on primary sources – texts, manuscripts, inscriptions and fieldwork – is especially welcome.

ஒவ்வொரு கட்டுரைக்கும் DOIDOI for every article

வெளியான ஒவ்வொரு கட்டுரைக்கும் Crossref DOI (10.63300) மற்றும் நிலையான பக்கம் வழங்கப்படும்.Published articles receive a Crossref DOI (prefix 10.63300) and a permanent page.

சமர்ப்பிப்பு முதல் வெளியீடு வரைFrom submission to publication

பொதுவாகச் சமர்ப்பித்த 1–2 வாரங்களுக்குள் முதல் முடிவு தெரிவிக்கப்படும்.

1. சமர்ப்பிப்பு1. Submission

இணையப் படிவம் வழியாகக் கட்டுரையை (.docx) அனுப்புங்கள். கட்டுரை எண்ணும் தனிப்பட்ட கண்காணிப்பு இணைப்பும் உங்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும்.Send the manuscript (.docx) through the online form. You receive an article ID and a private tracking link.

2. இதழாசிரியர் முன்னாய்வு2. Editorial screening

எல்லை, அமைப்பு, மொழிநடை, ஒப்புமை ஆகியவற்றை இதழாசிரியர்கள் சரிபார்ப்பர். பொருந்தாதவை காரணங்களுடன் திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படும்.Editors check scope, structure, language and similarity. Papers that do not fit are returned with reasons.

3. இரட்டை மறைவு மதிப்பாய்வு3. Double-blind review

பெயர் நீக்கப்பட்ட கட்டுரையைக் குறைந்தது 2 துறை வல்லுநர்கள் மதிப்பாய்வு செய்து, ஏற்க, திருத்த அல்லது நிராகரிக்கப் பரிந்துரைப்பர்.At least 2 subject experts review the anonymised manuscript and recommend accept, revise or reject.

4. திருத்தம்4. Revision

ஒவ்வொரு கருத்துக்கும் ஆசிரியர்கள் பதிலளிப்பர்; தேவைப்பட்டால் திருத்திய கட்டுரை மீண்டும் மதிப்பாய்வாளர்களிடம் செல்லும்.Authors respond to each comment; revised papers go back to the reviewers if needed.

5. ஏற்பு5. Acceptance

தொடர்பு ஆசிரியர் கண்காணிப்புப் பக்கத்திலேயே உரிம ஒப்பந்தத்தில் கையொப்பமிட்டு வெளியீட்டுக் கட்டணத்தைச் செலுத்தி, அச்சுப்படிக்கு ஒப்புதல் தருவார்.The corresponding author signs the licence agreement and pays the APC from the tracking page, then approves the proof.

6. வெளியீடு6. Publication

அடுத்த இதழில் DOI உடன் திறந்த அணுகலில் கட்டுரை வெளியாகும்; ஆசிரியர்களுக்குச் சான்றிதழ்கள் வழங்கப்படும்.The article is published open access with a DOI in the next issue, and the authors receive their certificates.

வழிகாட்டுதல்களின்படி கட்டுரையைத் தயாரித்து இணையத்தில் சமர்ப்பியுங்கள். தமிழிலும் ஆங்கிலத்திலும் கட்டுரைகள் வரவேற்கப்படுகின்றன; தலைப்பு, ஆய்வுச் சுருக்கம், திறவுச் சொற்கள் இரு மொழிகளிலும் தரப்பட வேண்டும்.

Prepare your manuscript to the guidelines and submit it online. Articles in Tamil or English are welcome; the title, abstract and keywords are given in both languages.
