🏛️ About the Journal
Tamil is a classical language with a rich, natural origin and a profound global influence. As the language of the world’s first grammar text, Tolkappiyam, and the ancient Sangam literature, Tamil boasts a literary heritage spanning over 2,500 years. It stands as a pioneering force in global linguistics, characterized by its antiquity, simplicity, elegance, and pride.
“Kalanjiyam – International Journal of Tamil Studies” was established to celebrate, analyze, and revive the special attributes of this venerable language. We believe it is the collective responsibility of professors, researchers, enthusiasts, and creators to enrich Tamil literature through insightful academic contributions. We warmly invite global researchers to submit their high-quality, open-access articles to our journal.
🎯 Aim and Scope
Our bilingual (Tamil and English), bi-annual journal is dedicated to fostering in-depth understanding and critical evaluation of the Tamil language and its literature—from its classical roots to its modern evolution.
We welcome innovative research articles across diverse disciplines, including but not limited to:

Kalanjiyam is officially inviting original research papers for our upcoming issue! Academic researchers, scholars, and authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts for publication in our peer-reviewed international journal.

🏛️ இதழைப் பற்றி
தமிழ் மொழி ஒரு செம்மொழியாகும். இயற்கையாகத் தோன்றிய இம்மொழியின் தாக்கம் உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள பல மொழிகளில் ஆழமாகக் காணப்படுகிறது. உலகின் முதல் இலக்கண நூலான ‘தொல்காப்பியம்’ தமிழில் எழுதப்பட்டது; இது இம்மொழியின் ஒப்பற்ற சிறப்பையும் பயன்பாட்டையும் பறைசாற்றுகிறது. இரண்டாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறு ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலான வளமான இலக்கிய மரபுகளைக் கொண்ட தமிழ், உலக மொழிகளில் மூத்ததும் முன்னோடியுமான மொழிகளில் ஒன்றாகும்.
தொன்மை, எளிமை, இனிமை, செம்மை, தனிமை, பெருமை என பல்வேறு சிறப்புகளைத் தன்னகத்தே கொண்ட தமிழ் மொழியின் பெருமையையும், அதன் தற்போதைய நிலையையும் உலகறியச் செய்வதற்காகவே “களஞ்சியம் – சர்வதேச தமிழ் ஆய்வு இதழ்” உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. தமிழ் மொழி மற்றும் இலக்கியத்தின் சிறப்பை மேம்படுத்துவது பேராசிரியர்கள், ஆய்வாளர்கள், படைப்பாளர்கள் மற்றும் புரவலர்களின் தலையாய கடமையாகும். தரமான ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகளை உலகளாவிய வாசகர்கள் இலவசமாகப் பெறும் வகையில் திறந்த அணுகல் முறையில் வெளியிடும் எங்கள் ஆய்விதழுக்கு, தங்களின் மதிப்புமிக்க பங்களிப்பை நல்குமாறு ஆய்வாளர்களை அன்புடன் அழைக்கிறோம்.
🎯 நோக்கமும் எல்லையும்
களஞ்சியம் சர்வதேச தமிழ் ஆய்வு இதழ், ஆண்டுக்கு இரண்டு முறை தமிழ் மற்றும் ஆங்கிலம் ஆகிய இரு மொழிகளில் வெளியாகும் ஒரு பன்னாட்டு ஆய்விதழாகும். செம்மொழியான தமிழின் தொன்மை முதல் நவீன காலப் போக்குகள் வரை அனைத்தையும் ஆழமாகப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவும், திறனாய்வு செய்யவும் இவ்விதழ் வழிவகுக்கிறது.
கீழ்க்காணும் பன்முகத் துறைகளில் சிறந்த ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகளை நாங்கள் வரவேற்கிறோம்:

📜 வரலாறு மற்றும் பண்பாடு: தமிழ் மொழியின் வரலாறு, கலாச்சாரம், நாட்டுப்புறக் கலைகள், மற்றும் கோயில் கட்டிடக்கலை.

🌿 மரபு அறிவியல்: சித்த மருத்துவம் மற்றும் சூழலியல் திறனாய்வு.

📢 ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள் சமர்ப்பிப்பதற்கான அழைப்பு
ஆய்வாளர்கள், கல்வியாளர்கள் மற்றும் தமிழ் ஆர்வலர்களிடமிருந்து சிறந்த அசல் ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள் (Original Research Papers) வரவேற்கப்படுகின்றன.

நடைமுறை: பெறப்படும் அனைத்து கட்டுரைகளும் நிபுணர்களால் முழுமையாக மதிப்பாய்வு (Peer-Review) செய்யப்படும்.

வெளியீடு: ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட கட்டுரைகள் திறந்த அணுகல் (Open Access) முறையில் இணையதளத்தில் PDF வடிவில் வெளியிடப்படும்.

குறிப்பு: குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட காலக்கெடுவிற்குள் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்படும் கட்டுரைகள் மட்டுமே பரிசீலனைக்கு எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும்.
🔓 திறந்த அணுகல் கொள்கை (Open Access Policy)
எங்கள் ஆய்விதழ், திறந்த அணுகல் முறையின் கொள்கைகளுக்கு முழுமையாகக் கட்டுப்பட்டது. வாசகர்கள் எவ்விதத் தடையுமின்றி கட்டுரைகளைத் தேடவும், வாசிக்கவும், பதிவிறக்கம் செய்யவும், நகலெடுக்கவும், கல்வி சார்ந்த நன்னெறி நோக்கங்களுக்காகப் பகிரவும் மற்றும் அச்சிடவும் அனுமதிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.

காப்புரிமை (Copyright): களஞ்சியம் சர்வதேச தமிழ் ஆய்வு இதழில் வெளியிடும் ஆசிரியர்கள் தங்கள் படைப்புகளுக்கான முழுமையான காப்புரிமையைத் தக்கவைத்துக்கொள்கிறார்கள். கட்டுரையைச் சமர்ப்பிப்பதன் மூலம், அதனை முதலில் வெளியிடுவதற்கான உரிமையை மட்டுமே அவர்கள் ஆய்விதழுக்கு வழங்குகிறார்கள். (குறிப்பு: அசல் உரையில் இருந்த ‘வாகுலம்’ என்ற பிழை திருத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது).

உரிமம் (License): எங்கள் இதழ், கிரியேட்டிவ் காமன்ஸ் ஆட்ரிபியூஷன் 4.0 இன்டர்நேஷனல் உரிமத்தைப் (CC BY 4.0) பயன்படுத்துகிறது. இதன்படி, அசல் படைப்பாளர் மற்றும் இந்த ஆய்விதழின் வெளியீட்டிற்கு உரிய மேற்கோள்/அங்கீகாரம் அளித்து, கட்டுரைகளைப் பயன்படுத்தவும் பகிரவும் மற்றவர்களுக்கு அனுமதி வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
