ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம்

இலக்கியம் என்பது நுண்கலை. அதற்கெனத் தனித் தன்மையும் வளர்ச்சியுண்டு. காலத்தின் மாற்றத்திற்கேற்பத் தமிழ் இலக்கியங்களும் புதுப்பொலிவுடன் வளர்ச்சி நிலையை அடைந்து நம் மண்ணின் பழம்பெருமைகளையும், மானுட வாழ்வின் மகத்துவங்களையும் எதிர்வரும் தலைமுறையினருக்கு எடுத்துக் காட்டுகின்றன. மனிதனைப் பண்படுத்தும் மதிப்புகளை இலக்கியங்கள் பெற்றுத் திகழ்வதோடு வாழ்வின் வழிகாட்டியாகவும், சமுதாயத்தோடு மனிதனை ஒன்றிணையச் செய்யும் பாலமாகவும் திகழ்கின்றன. இலக்கிய வரலாற்றை ஒரு தேசத்தின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாறு எனச் சிறப்பித்து உரைப்பாரும் உளர். "அரிது அரிது மானிடராய்ப் பிறத்தல் அரிது" என்றார் ஔவையார். பெறற்கரிய மானிடப் பிறப்பைப் பெற்ற மனிதன் நன்முறையில் வாழ்வதற்குச் சில நெறிமுறைகளைப் பின்பற்றி இப்பிறப்பின் பொருளைச் சிறக்கச் செய்ய வேண்டும். அதற்கு நம் தமிழ் இலக்கியங்கள் வழிகாட்டியாக அமைகின்றன என்பதை வெளிக்கொணர்வதே இவ்வாய்வுக்களமாகும்.

Abstract

Literature is a fine art, possessing its own unique character and trajectory of evolution. Adapting to the changing times, Tamil literature has flourished with renewed vitality, showcasing the ancient glories of our land and the magnificence of human existence to future generations. Beyond embodying values that refine human character, literature serves as a guide for life and a bridge connecting the individual with society. Some even characterize the history of literature as the biography of a nation. The poet Avvaiyar famously remarked, "Rare, indeed, is birth as a human being." Having attained this precious human life, one must adhere to certain principles to live meaningfully and nobly; this study aims to highlight how Tamil literature serves as a guiding light in that endeavor.
