ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம்
தமிழ்மொழியின் வளர்ச்சியானது இலக்கியப் படைப்புகளின் எண்ணிக்கை பெருகிய வரலாறு மட்டுமல்ல. பல்வேறு அறிவுத் துறைகளுடன் இணைந்து வந்த வரலாறாகவும் அமைகிறது. சங்க இலக்கியங்களில் இயற்கை, நிலவியல், வேளாண்மை, காலநிலை, விலங்கியல், கடல்சார் வாழ்க்கை, வணிகம் போன்றவை மக்களின் வாழ்க்கை முறைகளைக் கொண்டு பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன. அற இலக்கியங்களில் மருத்துவம், அரசியல், பொருளாதாரம், ஒழுக்கவியல் போன்ற அறிவுத்துறைகள் முறையான சிந்தனைகளாக அமைகின்றன. காப்பியங்கள் இசை, நடனம், நாடகம், நகர அமைப்பு போன்ற கலை மற்றும் சமூக அறிவுகளைப் பதிவு செய்கின்றன. நவீன காலத்தில் அச்சு, அறிவியல் தமிழ், கலைச்சொல்லாக்கம், ஆகியவற்றின் வழியாக தமிழ் புதிய அறிவுகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறது. இன்றைய நிலையில் கணினித் தமிழ், இணையத் தமிழ், செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு போன்ற துறைகளுடன் தமிழ் இணைந்து வளர்ந்துள்ளது. இவ்வாறு சங்ககாலம் முதல் தமிழின் வளர்ச்சியைப் பல்துறை அறிவின் தொடர்ச்சியான பயணமாக இக்கட்டுரை அமைந்துள்ளது.
Abstract
The evolution of the Tamil language is not merely a history of the proliferation of literary works; it is also a journey intertwined with various fields of knowledge. Sangam literature documents aspects such as nature, geography, agriculture, climate, zoology, maritime life, and trade through the lens of people's lifestyles. Didactic literature incorporates fields like medicine, politics, economics, and ethics as structured systems of thought. Epic literature records knowledge regarding arts and society, including music, dance, drama, and urban planning. In modern times, Tamil has embraced new knowledge through printing, scientific Tamil, and the coining of technical terminology. Currently, the language has evolved alongside fields such as computer-based Tamil, internet-based Tamil, and artificial intelligence. Thus, this article presents the growth of Tamil from the Sangam era to the present as a continuous journey alongside multidisciplinary knowledge.
