ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம்
மனித வாழ்வில் உடல்நலம் மிக முக்கியமான இடத்தைப் பெறுகிறது. நோய்களைத் தடுத்து உடல் நலத்தைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்காக மனிதன் காலங்காலமாகப் பல்வேறு மருத்துவ முறைகளைக் கடைப்பிடித்து வந்துள்ளான். தமிழர்களின் தொன்மையான மருத்துவ மரபுகளில் சிறப்பிடம் பெறுவது சித்த மருத்துவம் ஆகும். இயற்கையை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு உருவான சித்த மருத்துவம், உடல், மனம், உணவு, வாழ்க்கை முறை ஆகிய அனைத்தையும் ஒருங்கிணைத்துப் பார்க்கிறது. இதற்கு மாறாக, அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப வளர்ச்சியின் அடிப்படையில் வளர்ச்சி பெற்றது தற்கால நவீன மருத்துவம் ஆகும். இவ்விரு மருத்துவ முறைகளுக்கும் சில ஒற்றுமைகளும் பல வேற்றுமைகளும் காணப்படுகின்றன.
Abstract
Health holds a vital place in human life. Throughout history, humans have adopted various medical practices to prevent disease and maintain physical well-being. Siddha medicine occupies a distinguished position among the ancient medical traditions of the Tamils. Rooted in nature, Siddha medicine takes a holistic approach, integrating the body, mind, diet, and lifestyle. In contrast, contemporary modern medicine has evolved based on advancements in science and technology. These two medical systems share certain similarities while also exhibiting numerous differences.
