In the context of language, particularly, terms like "Addition" and "Punarchi" (which I understand might refer to specific grammatical concepts or linguistic features depending on the original language and context) are subject to precise interpretations within literary and grammatical frameworks. Consider the richness and diversity that emerges when different cultures and communities interact. In places like oases, vast forests, and towering mountains – environments that foster both isolation and congregation – we witness the beautiful phenomenon of individuals from disparate ethnic groups meeting, forming connections, and developing affection for one another, despite their previously unknown existences. This interaction underscores the unifying power of shared humanity and the potential for love and understanding to transcend cultural boundaries. Further, the text alludes to a hierarchical system of belief or importance. The "goddess" is presented as being the primary level, followed by the "ethnic group" as a secondary level, suggesting a structured relationship between deity and community. Finally, the phrase referencing "the ecology of the Thirukovaiyar" and "the life of the small servants of Thillai" points to a specific cultural and geographical context, likely within Tamil Nadu, India. It is known through archaeological researches that Tamil script, Brahmi, cursive script was used in many archaeological monuments such as inscriptions, coins, middle stones and meikirthi found so far in the Tamil writing system. This typeface is similar in appearance to the Hangul typeface that may be found in Korea in some places and slightly different in others. This review paper is designed to examine the literary connection between the Tamil language and the Korean language as a focus.

Ancient Tamil kingdoms boast a rich artistic heritage, where literature and painting intertwine to create a vibrant cultural expression. Examining literary evidence from Sangam period texts, the article highlights the prevalence and importance of painting in ancient Tamil society, evidenced by references to diverse painting instances. This research article probes into the rich artistic heritage of Tamil Nadu, focusing on a single, often untouched mural, "Sage Teaching the Disciples," within the Brihadeeswara Temple in Thanjavur. While the temple's murals are renowned, this study aims to decode the narrative and symbolic elements of this particular painting, situating it within the broader context of Tamil art. Through detailed description and interpretation, the article deciphers the possible essence of the painting.

Nevertheless, it stands as a social historical document that meticulously records the cultural excellence, economic structure, family system, women's social agency, occupational practices, and ethical principles of the Tamil society from two thousand years ago.
This paper comprehensively analyzes the social elements embedded in the songs of Narrinai through the lens of landscape-based (thinai) lifestyle, social transitions from primitive communism to feudalism, moneyless barter economy, domestic ethics such as "hospitality even at midnight," and nature-oriented social eco-consciousness. Palthamburaj Kingston National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore SingaporeThis study examines the political, economic, and social conditions of Malaysian Tamils under Japanese rule from 1941 to 1945. The primary objective is to analyze the challenges faced by the Tamil community during this period and understand the transformations they underwent. This research employs historical analysis, archival research, and oral history as primary methodologies. The study is framed using Postcolonial Theory, Diaspora Theory, and Marxist Analysis. The paper is structured into five key sections: (1) Introduction, (2) Historical Context, (3) Impact of Japanese Rule, (4) Theoretical Analysis, and (5) Conclusion. Under Japanese rule, Malaysian Tamils experienced severe exploitation and resistance. Their working conditions deteriorated, education was restricted, and cultural identities were suppressed. However, they demonstrated resilience and adaptability in overcoming adversities.

Dr. V. Vignesh P.S.G. College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore - 641014 IndiaTiruvaḷḷuvar kāviyam is a unique Tamil poem of the twentieth century. It was composed by Coimbatore scholar A. Krishnasamy Naidu. The author's fictional kāviyam Thandiyalangaram also contains elements of kāviyam. The author has a deep commitment to Swarajya, democracy, Gandhi's non-violence, and Nehru's equality. Due to the author's boundless interest in Nehru's equality, he has created an egalitarian society without caste and religion in this kāviyam. Thus, due to his attachment to Gandhi, thoughts on non-violence are woven into this poem. This article was written to identify them.

47-57Rationalist observations in Kalaignar's commentary on the Thirukkural
Dr. V. ANNADURAI Associate Professor and Head, Department of Tamil, Pachaiyapaa's College for Men, Chengalpattu Main Road, Nasarthpettai, Kanchipuram-631501 IndiaThirukkural is revered as the most outstanding ethical text in Tamil. Its concise language and principles of life have been praised by scholars throughout the ages. While scholars like the eminent Dr. V. Suba. Manickanar believed that Thirukkural verses require no commentary as they are inherently understandable, numerous commentaries have emerged from then until today. Among these, a tendency has grown for many commentators to attempt to transform their biased opinions and ideologies into the words of Valluvar. In such a context, new commentaries become necessary to convey the true ethics of the Thirukkural, provide progressive interpretations suitable for the times, and refute commentaries that foster regressive thinking. With this objective in mind, Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi, a Dravidian movement thinker and Tamil scholar, wrote a new commentary on the Thirukkural. Kalaignar approached the Thirukkural with a rationalist perspective, one of the core principles of the Dravidian movement, including the rejection of superstition, social justice, and humanism. This article aims to deeply analyze the rationalist thoughts recorded in Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi's commentary on the Thirukkural. Through explanatory analysis of specific couplets and the commentaries provided by Kalaignar, this article explores how his commentary differs from traditional commentaries and promotes progressive thinking with a rationalist leaning.
