Abstract

The Kurunthokai is considered to be the first compiled book among the eight volumes that express the love of the hero for the heroine. Although there are five internal volumes among the eight volumes, it is the Kurunthokai that is still highly praised by scholars and great people. This article aims to examine, from a psychological perspective, the Kurunthokai songs that perfectly express the feelings.
