When we study the history of Tamil literature for 2000 years, women writers have recorded the life, culture and internal and external expressions of the Tamil land as well as the male writers. Numerically, there are very few works by women. However, women poets are the symbol of the Tamil language. The list of Tamil women poets is long. But there is no denying the fact that the patriarchal thinking prevailing in Tamil society has narrowed the space of women in the kitchen in the corner of the house. Girls were denied education. This article is based on some of the stories in Prema's 2004 collection Feminist Stories.
