V.O.C.'s "Agame Puram" (As Within, So Without / The Interior is the Exterior) Realization and Impartation

Abstract

: In all countries across the world, whoever is marginalized or sidelined across various spheres such as religion, race/ethnicity, language, economy, and education can be termed marginal people. In English, this is referred to as 'subaltern studies'. That is, anyone pushed from the center to the periphery can be included within the definition of marginal people. In this regard, transgender individuals, homosexuals, roadside workers, informal/casual workers, students, women, and children can all be brought under the definition of marginal people. The objective of this study is to focus on and depict the living conditions of people who struggle for their rights and to sustain their existence. Furthermore, this study explains the struggle of people from all walks of life striving to maintain their living conditions, their dignity and desire to break free from it, and their resistance.
