This research paper analyzes D. Selvaraj’s acclaimed novel, Thool. The study explores the social issues depicted in the narrative, specifically focusing on the hardships faced by the Dalit community and the multifaceted oppression of women. Furthermore, it examines the lived experiences of those relegated to the lower strata of society and critiques the overarching dominance and authority exercised by the capitalist class.
