The Kurinji land is the most important of the ancient Tamil lands. The people who have been carrying out their livelihoods based on this land are the tribal people. Although there are various types of people living in the world, the tribal people are the ones who have followed the most ancient culture in the long evolution, but today's modernizing environment is changing the uniqueness of the cultural traditions of these tribal people and making them live a monotonous life. However, there are some tribal communities in the world that have the power to maintain their own lifestyle traditions in the face of such attacks. By identifying and studying these tribal communities, it is possible to restore their ancient cultural identities. It is noteworthy that the Malayali tribal community is preserving its tribal traditions in today's Tamil environment. In this way, this article is based on documenting the lifestyle rituals of the people.
