Abstract

மனித வாழ்வைச் செம்மைப்படுத்தும் கூறுகளாக இலக்கியங்கள் திகழ்கின்றன. இலக்கியங்கள் பாடலின் உட்கருத்துகளை எடுத்துரைப்பது மட்டுமல்லாது வாழ்வியல் நெறிகளைக் கூறி அவ்வழியில் அழைத்துச் செல்கின்றன. வாழ்வியல் நெறி, பண்பாட்டுக் கூறுகளின் அடிப்படையில் அமைகின்றது. தனிமனிதன் தன்னுடைய இலக்கினை அடையக்கூடிய பாதையாகப் பண்பாடு விளங்குகின்றது. சங்க காலந்தொட்டு இன்று வரை தமிழர்கள் தனக்கே உண்டான பண்பாட்டு நெறிகளை முறையாகப் பின்பற்றி வருகின்றனர். பண்பாட்டுக் கூறுகள் அறநெறி, விருந்தோம்பல், இல்லறம், ஈகை, உயிரிரக்கம், அக வாழ்வு, புற வாழ்வு என்ற நிலைகளைக் கொண்டு அமைகின்றன. இந்தப் பண்பாட்டுக் கூறுகள் திருக்குறளில் அமைந்துள்ள பாங்கினை விளக்குமாறு இக்கட்டுரை அமைகின்றது.

Culture serves as the means by which a person can reach their aspirations. From the Sangha era to the present, Tamils have consistently adhered to their unique cultural traditions. The components of culture include ethics, hospitality, family values, appreciation for life, and both inner and outer experiences. This article aims to explore the presence of these cultural components in Thirukkural.
