Abstract

In Naladiyar, composed by Jain monks, the wealth of education is revered as the most sublime guide for human life. A dedicated chapter is allocated in this text specifically to extol the virtue of education, explaining it as a unique wealth that, unlike other material riches, is imperishable and cannot be stolen by anyone. Naladiyar emphatically asserts that education is the primary wealth parents must accumulate for their children, and that knowledge provides a person with true beauty far beyond any external ornaments. The objective of this study is to synthesize and present these profound concepts.
