The Naturalist Philosophical Quest of Geethatheism: A Comparative Perspective on Thirukkural, Dhammapada, and Taoism

Abstract

கீழைத்தேய கலை, அறிவுமரபுகள் இயற்கையை மையமிட்டு அமைகின்றன. அந்தவகையில் தத்துவ நூல்களும் அவ்வாறான முறைமையில் அமைந்துள்ளன. இதற்குக் காரணம் இயற்கையின் பண்பை உயர்வாகக் காண்பதும் அதிலிருந்து மனித மேன்மையைக் கண்டடைவதுமாக அமைகிறது. இந்த நிலையில் திருக்குறள், தம்மபதம், தாவோதேஜிங் ஆகிய மூன்று பனுவல்களும் இயற்கையின் இயல்பிலிருந்து மானிட வாழ்வின் சமத்துவத்தை, மானிட மேன்மையை, தங்களின் மெய்யியல் தேட்டங்களை முன்வைக்கின்றன. நிலம், நீர் முதலிய பஞ்ச பூதங்களும் உயிரியல் தொகுதிகளும் அவற்றின் நடவடிக்கைகளும் மனித வாழ்வை மேம்படுத்தும் மெய்யியல் தேட்டங்களாக அமைகின்றன. அந்தவகையில் கீழைத்தேய மெய்யியல் தேட்டம் என்பது இயற்கையை மையமாகக் கொண்டு அமைகிறது என்பதற்கு இப்பனுவல்கள் சான்றுகளாகின்றன. 

The art and knowledge of Geetha is centered around nature. In that way the philosophical texts are also in such a system. The reason for this is that the quality of nature is exalted and human superiority is derived from it. In this situation, the three works of Thirukkural, Dhammapada, and Daothejing present the equality of human life, human superiority, and their philosophical goals from the nature of nature. Earth, water etc. pancha bhutas and biological blocks and their activities are philosophical quests to improve human life. In this way, these findings are evidence that the philosophical research is centered on nature.
