These musical expressions resonate with the innermost feelings of rural folk. Their thoughts, yearnings, dreams, aspirations, and aversions serve as reflections of their culture and customs. From the moment of birth—through growth and the journey of life—until the final passage to the cremation ground, music and song accompany every stage of existence.
