Human life is determined by social conditions. The character of man on society, and the character of society on the individual, are intertwined and change each other. Man needs society to maintain himself and to maintain himself without being destroyed. Thus, the bond between literature and society is stressed when the creator tries to realistically portray the social thoughts surrounding him in his works. Furthermore, it is the duty of a writer to try to solve the social problems faced by humans by revealing the true knowledge about the events taking place in society. This article examines the life problems of fishermen, their knowledge of the sea, the way they are worshipped as a sea god, and the unity of fishermen, etc., as featured in the novels of the writer Su. Tamilchelvi, who has done such a duty well.
